Good news for jobseekers: Patanjali is planning to hire 50,000 candidates for various position

Acharya Balkrishna, the CEO of yoga guru Baba Ramdev-run FMCG company Patanjali. As per reports, ” Patanjali, with a turnover of Rs 10,561 crore in FY17, has been in close competition with major global brands. It is the second-largest pure-play FMCG giant aftermarket leader Hindustan Unilever”

Patanjali CEO Acharya Balkrishna told PTI,” We are doing an online business of Rs 10 to 15 crore, and expect it to increase further every month”

Balkrishna is determined to make Patanjali the FMCG leader in India. Major components of Balkrishna’s growth strategy are: to double distributor strength to 12,000, invest Rs 5,000 crore in new plants, increase headcount five-fold to five lakh within a year, and set up a new restaurant chain.

Details of the vacancies:

As per details, Patanjali will hire 40 to 50 salesmen in each district of the country who will get the opportunity to work in various divisions of Patanjali including food like (atta, rice, oil, and biscuit), personal care, home care and Astha pooja items. Salesmen are required to do home delivery of products.

Eligibility criteria:

All the candidates interested in applying need to be intermediate or Class 12 pass from a recognized university/institute/Board, BA/MA/MBA(person with one or two years of experience in the FMCG sector will be preferred).

Salary :

Patanjali will provide remuneration ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000 as per city category and qualifications.

Candidates need to register online. Patanjali will organize selection and training camps from June 23 to June 27.

In the financial year, 2016-17 Patanjali had clocked a turnover of Rs 10,561 crore, registering a 111 percent growth. The firm had announced last year to double it by crossing Rs 20,000-crore mark. Since two years, Patanjali is expanding its offering and has entered into over a dozen categories in FMCG segment.

The company is investing in food processing and strengthening its production capabilities. It is also investing in six mega food park projects, including Nagpur (MP), Dhankaur (UP) and Baripada (Assam). In January this year, Patanjali Ayurved has forayed into e-commerce for its FMCG items, partnering major players in the space, including Amazon and Flipkart.
